My father started teaching me guitar when I was 14. I tried learning for a while, but always got frustrated by my tiny fingers not being able to hold down all the strings. We went on a vacation to Hawaii and bought a ukulele while there and I was instantly in love. The ukulele has such a cute fun sound and is easier on my fingers than guitar. It's very light so it's also easy to take on the go and dancing while playing. It's perfect for Sing-Alongs with my residents!
